Clinical Hypnotherapy
Clinical hypnotherapy can be used for many different issues that life may present to us. Anxiety, depression, phobias addiction and substance abuse, self esteem, trauma or traumatic events we may have experienced can all be treated with hypnosis.
The practice of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes involves getting into a relaxed state of mind, where your therapist communicates with the subconscious part of your brain and makes suggestions relevant to the specific symptoms like pain, anxiety and addiction.
Clinical hypnotherapy is different from stage hypnosis, which you may have seen on tv or shows, where hypnotised people may quack like a duck. This is for entertainment purposes only, and not for real and lasting change like Clinical Hypnotherapy is.
With Clinical hypnotherapy, the therapist has undergone many hours of practice within a clinical setting. So you will always remain in control, and only changes you agree to will happen. And there are no swinging watches involved.
